Our Discovery Table

We have lots of very hungry monarch caterpillars in Room 1. They are fussy eaters and only like swan plants or milkwood. They will eat pumpkin if nothing else is available.

PLEASE, if anyone has some swan plants to donate for our hungry caterpillars to munch through that would be fantastic.

Hanging ready to change into a chrysalis

We have been asking questions to find out more about the caterpillars.

Our big question is:

How does the butterfly come out of the chrysalis?

    Hi Room 1,
The children in Room 3 loved seeing the butterfly coming out of its cocoon today at Community Time! Thank you for sharing your learning with us.
